Golden Milk Ginger Latte

I love the health benefits of turmeric, but am not a fan of the flavor. This golden milk latte pairs it with cinnamon and ginger for a warming taste that is friendlier for sensitive tastes. While it might seem odd to have black pepper in this recipe, pepper helps to activate the healthful properties of turmeric, so don't skip it!

Serves 1.
Ingredients
  • 12 oz milk of choice (I like flax, oat, or cashew milk)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric, ground
  • 1/16 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ginger, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Ceylon cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp raw honey or grade B maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp grass-fed butter (optional)
Instructions
  1. Heat your milk on the stove in a small saucepan until it just begins to boil.
  2. Add all ingredients to a bullet, blender, or food processor and pulse until well-combined and frothy. Enjoy warm.
